Games are a metaphor for life. In them you will find the same three main elements: a system, an order, and a set of rules.”

                                                                                                                                                                                                     Marta Marcè

Inspired by his thinking, I created the Maracanà table football using three very different materials, attempting to create the best balance between them: wood, aluminum, and silicone.

The supporting structure was first made of wood, and then a mold was cast using molten aluminum.

Once hardened, the wood's texture appears on the surface, almost as if it were fossilized; I like to call it post-industrial wood.

The players, sculpted by artist Michele Balestra, are also cast aluminum.

The finishing touch comes from silicone, a soft-touch material available in an infinite variety of colors. Artist Alessandro Ciffo, who has been developing and exploring this material for years, collaborated on the project. He designed and created the handles, scoreboards, rounded corners, and goals for the foosball table.

The contrast between the materials used and their colors make the Maracanâ foosball table not just a game table, but a true sculpture.

A pool table born from the collaboration with Hermelin biliardi.

This extraordinary table embodies the concept of contemporary design and craftsmanship. Its construction involves the use of two types of wood, frisé maple and olive, combined with etched brass plates.

Featuring a sculptural design, the Casablanca pool table stands out for the beauty of its olive wood inserts inlaid in the white maple; each cushion is hand-sculpted, alternating organic and geometric shapes, reminiscent of desert dunes.

The truncated pyramid-shaped legs are also made of maple wood with the addition of hand-etched brass plates, making each one unique. These unique shapes give the table a contemporary and dreamlike aesthetic.

The contrasting materials and shapes make the Casablanca table not just a functional object, but a true sculpture.

The table, named after its absolute black granite playing surface of magmatic origin, is specifically designed for outdoor use. Each of its components has been conceived and treated for this purpose. Another distinctive feature is the solid brass net, which can be easily removed and stored beneath the playing surface between the legs, transforming the table into a perfect dining table for eight people without the need for any tools The design reflects my artistic language, which combines rigid lines with soft, hand-sculpted carvings.
